CASEY Fields will be the venue for the fourth annual Victorian All-Abilities Cricket Carnival on Sunday.

Mayor Lorraine Wreford said the event provided a wonderful opportunity for people with a disability to have a go at the popular sport.

"There will be three formats to suit all abilities; Super League Cricket, for experienced cricketers; Ten Over Tonk, for less experienced cricketers; and No Boundaries Cricket, an entry level competition for those that

want to have a go," Cr Wreford said.

The carnival, being held by Casey in partnership with Cricket Victoria, Casey-South Melbourne Cricket Club and Cranbourne Cricket Club, is free but participants must register to ensure they can be placed in a team.

Players should arrive at Casey Fields at 9.30 (for 10am start).
