Pupils show they're all sole

IT'S a collection that would put Imelda Marcos to shame.

Tooradin Primary School pupils will donate about 500 pairs of used shoes to the 'Your Shoes' charity, for use in projects that provide sustainable opportunities for at-risk young people.

Charity spokeswoman Fran Davide said Your Shoes would give the footwear to not-for-profit organisation Kids off the Kerb.

The group aims to provide support for young people and link them to productive activities and programs including education, training and employment.

The shoes will be used locally or distributed overseas.

Ms Davide said the charity's target was to collect more than 10,000 pairs of clean, wearable footwear each month.
